What is LEAD Pakistan
“Regional Water Governance Conference”?
LEAD Pakistan has planned this conference to be a connecting
opportunity for international water experts and idea laboratory
platform. Along with media event publicizing the debate from the
conference, this event will offer a networking session and
experts’ workshop with opportunity for the researchers, donors
and stakeholders to present their work as well as a highly
selective roundtable, engaging with crucial questions for
Pakistan and the region.
The Conference focus will be the very novel topic of water
cooperation between Pakistan and Afghanistan, with the hope that
talks and arising recommendations will foster a peace-building,
sustainable process between the two countries. This will be done
in the light of adaptation to emerging challenges running from
growing population to sustainable development and climate
change.
Who can
participate in this Event?
The Experts'workshop and Networking Session are closed event,
participation is limited to those who have been sent invitation
letters.
Media Event is open to application; anyone can place a request
for registration considering they provide information on their
field of specialization and their interest in the conference.
Confirmation of registration will be sent two weeks before the
event. After this, no registration will be accepted.
What is the schedule of the
Event?

What is the Expert’s Workshop?
We have identified experts with rich experience, expertise and
perspectives on the main themes to participate in an expert
session that will take place in the morning. The Moderator will
lead the discussions and participants will have an interactive
session with the key panelists.

What is the Networking Session?
This event is by invitation only.
What is the Media Event?
In order to enhance the conference's visibility and raise
awareness about critical issues debated during the day, the
afternoon plenary session will be moderated and recorded by
national TV channel. This event is open to request for
registration,

What are the check-in time for
the different sessions?
Participants to the Expert's workshop should arrive at 8.30am.
Please note that gate will be closed at 9.15am.
Participants to Media Event should arrive at 1.30pm. No
participants will be accepted after 2.30pm as recording will
start for TV show.
Do i need to pay for my travel
and lodging from my own pocket?
