Development Program
LEAD Pakistan
launched its Management Development Programme (MDP)
in April 2002. The purpose of this initiative was to
broaden the scope in which LEAD’s capacity building
expertise and resources were utilized, cater to the
need for shorter courses focusing on specific
professional challenges, and generate resources for
LEAD’s long-term sustainability.
MDP has been received very well in the country, and
has already catered to the training needs of several
hundred individuals from more than 130 organizations
in Pakistan. In keeping with LEAD Pakistan’s
traditional area of interest and expertise, the
training themes fall within the broad categories of
leadership and management, and environmental and
sustainable development issues.
Recognizing the growing viability and potential of
distance learning, LEAD Pakistan has also launched
distance learning modules from the MDP platform.
