decision in a developing country. Thorough accurate
research brings insight and perspective on the
environments in which we live and work to change.
LEAD Pakistan is dedicated to generating a body of
indigenous knowledge collected in the form of case
studies, occasional papers, and updates in the
fields of education, governance, environment,
health, CSR, poverty alleviation, and other issues
related to sustainable development.
Research unit at LEAD Pakistan carries out
policy/applied research on development issues in the
context of sustainable development in Pakistan. The
unit undertakes surveys, case studies, occasional
papers, discussion papers, action research studies,
research updates . The unit focuses to conduct
applied research using modern research techniques,
methodologies and tools of data analysis to generate
primary data that could be used for planning and
formulation of policies, and of implementation of
plans and policies.
LEAD Pakistan has a strong record of research and
publications on issues related to the environment
and development in Pakistan. Research is undertaken
both for external clients on a consultancy basis,
and as part of externally funded projects. Equally
vital to our future is the processing and sharing of
the lessons learned. to explore impacts of various
development initiatives and Case Studies, which draw
on LEAD Pakistan’s own experience and lessons
learned
