LEAD is a worldwide network of professionals passionately committed to environmentally sustainable and socially equitable development. Entry is via a 18-month training program that includes a combination of distance learning and three face-to-face sessions.

 

The sessions will take place in several cities of Pakistan and regions of the world and will inspire you with the latest thinking, sharpen your skills and put you in contact with a group of high-level peers from across Europe and internationally.

You will gain practical experience of contemporary sustainability challenges and search for solutions with colleagues from different countries and diverse professional backgrounds.

You will also interact with some of the world’s leading thinkers and practitioners in sustainability and hear their stories of challenge and opportunity.

Making The Difference

LEAD Pakistan has initiated issuance of LEAD's Bulletin "Making the Difference". This bulletin is a monthly meet of LEAD Fellows, Associates and friends. It shares LEAD initiatives and Fellows endeavors for the cause of sustainable development.

OUR OBJECTIVE : LEAD is characterized by a number of significant features that distinguish it from other training programs: Emphasize on sustainable development as an issue and provision of practical skills necessary to affect real change. A global network of professionals – composed of LEAD participants, Associates, Graduates and Fellows working in unison within the integrated field of development. Mutual exchange of views and expertise between participants through a global electronic information and communication system. Module designed to provide participants with training related specifically to their particular type of organization, work and geographical area. An approach which deals with the local and national dimensions of sustainable development and its relation to global sustainability and the extent to which problems and solutions are diverse and complementary in different areas of Pakistan.

LEAD-Pakistan, one of the 14 country/regional programs of LEAD International, was established in 1995 to bring the leadership development program to Pakistan. The nonprofit and nonpartisan organization is currently engaged in training its tenth cohort of Associates (trainees), amidst a range of other exciting activites

LEAD is committed to making a contribution toward the creation of a sustainable society based on mutual obligations and responsibilities in which development patterns will satisfy the shared needs and aspirations of all people and respect the Earth’s living systems and natural resources.
