Pakistan’s energy crises has a remedy in ecological foot printing

Pakistan faces a shortfall of 2000 to 3000 MW in electricity; 4-5 hour power outage is the norm.

EF Calculator helps organizations measure the level of ecological damage by their work related activities in quantifiable terms & calculates the Ecological Footprint.

LEAD Pakistan plans trainings on EF Calculator in three major cities in October.

Each year, tonnes of energy and natural resources are consumed by offices around the world, severely impacting the environment and contributing significantly to the emission of greenhouse gases (GHGs) in the atmosphere. While organizations in the West are waking up to this reality and establishing eco-friendly trends at work, their counterparts in Pakistan still remain less concerned about the environmental impacts of their office operations and consumption patterns.
