Multi-Sectoral Dialogue to Review National and Provincial Forest Law

The main objective of the project is to improve the implementation of laws, rules and regulations of forestry and interrelated sectors (mainly water) in Pakistan with the help of advocacy and lobbying tools (research, coordination and networking initiatives). The objective is in line with the 7th goal of millennium development, which focuses towards environmental sustainability. The project has direct linkages with Target 1 and 7 of goal number 7 of MDG.

Leadership for Reproductive Health in Pakistan – LRH

LRH was initially two year project by the name of Enabling Effective District Leadership for Reproductive Health in Pakistan in partnership with the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. The project aims to create a model of leadership development and facilitation in two districts of Pakistan, namely Khairpur, Sindh and Lodhran, Punjab. The second phase, called LRH II, developed an interlocking matrix which involves the community, civil society and the government to undertake a sustained improvement in the RH indicators. The idea was to emphasizes multi-stakeholder and multi-sectoral engagement on sustainable development that is directly linked to Family Planning/ Reproductive Health (FP/RH) leading to national contribution on Millennium Development Goal (MDG) commitments.

“Our World” – Women Leadership in Reproductive Health and Development (WLRHD)

WLRHD was a three year initiative that is aimed at generating multi-stakeholder dialogue onunder researched areas of health sector with a focus on RH, climate change anddevelopment.The project is expected to mainstream RH as the key strategy for poverty alleviation andachievement of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

Action Lab 2011

The Action Lab will provoke thinking on solving complex global problems holistically and will promote a culture of increased commitment, creativity, experimentation and collaboration. It will also provide a perfect opportunity to leverage and build a community around Leadership with a threefold effect on Climate Compatible Development, MDGs and Innovation
