Malik Uzair Khan | Member

Malik Muhammad Uzair Khan is a former Member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from the PML-N. His areas of interest include climate change, international affairs and youth engagement.  He currently chairs the standing committee on climate change in the national assembly. He has led several international delegations on Climate Change and SDGs. Uzair Khan convened the 1st SAARC Young Parliamentarian’s Conference in Islamabad in August 2016 which brought together young representatives of the region to work on a common vision for peace and development. He also served as a Special Envoy of the Prime Minister on Kashmir to the EU. He is also on the board of the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS) and the National Group Chair of Air Quality Asia. 

Uzair Khan completed his undergraduate studies in International Relations from Stanford University (USA) and holds an Master of Public Affairs (MPA) from Sciences Po, Paris.

He has been member of LEAD’s Board of Governors since December 2017.
