ISO 9001 Certification
LEAD Pakistan became the first non-profit
organization to be an ISO 9001 certified
institution.
The Pakistan
Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) is an independent,
non-profit, support organisation. It was established
in August 2001 to lead philanthropy promotion in
Pakistan. Central to this promotion, remains the
effort of mobilising resources from the private
sector, in particular the corporate sector for
development initiatives. In doing so, the Centre
also supplements the
government's poverty
reduction agenda.
PCP Certification
The PCP Non-profit Organizations Certification
System is a comprehensive certification mechanism.
This involves a quantitative and qualitative
assessment of the performance of an NPO done
against pre-defined sets of parameters related to
legal requirements, internal governance, financial
management, and programme effectiveness.
LEAD Pakistan also qualified Certification by
Pakistan Center for Philanthropy [PCP]. The purpose
of PCP certification is to encourage transparency
and professionalism in civil society organizations
in the country. Three key areas: a) Internal
Governance, b) Financial Management and c) Program
Delivery at LEAD Pakistan were audited by PCP and we
were given the following score:
