As per the ISO requirement the following graph represents comparison of our current training with the previous two First National Training sessions.

Kindly Note: The evaluation form was different for each of these trainings, therefore depending on the number of evaluations a consolidated percentage

has been calculated by taking out the averages of all the available evaluation forms per training. In addition, for all the practical reasons the comparison

may not be reasonable as the topics for each training session are different.

Participants Comments

Some of the notable comments given by the trainees in terms of the training sessions are described as follows.

  • Time for the group work was not sufficient. Group work Assignments needs improvement.
  • The group work was a challenge to think out-of-box and review things multidimensional however time allocation for analysis was too short
  • Success stories as example cases should have been presented in all the presentations given by the resource Persons
  • The field visit exposed the participants to real life situations especially in understanding poverty issues. One could establish an interface of poverty with MEAs in debate of their compliance and issues involved with community actions.
  • A night stay for the field visit with grater in-depth discussion and analysis is recommended
  • The field visit could have been made more diverse by including other activities of the project
  • The field visit to VETS and Wild life department was very informative with sufficient time to explore. Such short trips with less travel time should be designed in the future trainings
  • 1 NTS was a great opportunity to learn, not only about the international environmental issues, but also about the status and stand of our country regarding those problems. One suggestion to put forward: it would be better if
we had have a session of discussion upon the potential role to be played by private sector, NGOs,
researchers, development professionals in addition to government at all the stages of the process. It seems that presently government is the major player, and that's too at very apex level. A process or mechanism is needed to involve all these into a more collaborative and interactive process
